In May, the residents of our Supported Living Home became part of a major and meaningful initiative. They joined the All-Ukrainian community cleanup (toloka) and, alongside volunteers from the “Building Ukraine Together” (BUR) movement, helped clean up Horikhovyi Hai Park.
For us, it is essential that our residents do not merely receive support, but through it, become active members of the community. The safe housing, quality assistance, and daily activities we provide serve as a strong foundation that empowers individuals to take action and contribute to others.
Events like this are, above all, about agency—proving that everyone can make a contribution to community life, take responsibility, and drive positive change. After all, living in a community means more than just being present; it means feeling connected to a shared space and caring for it together.
We extend our sincere thanks to “Building Ukraine Together” for the fantastic collaboration, wonderful atmosphere, and the opportunity to create positive change together!
